As we all know, later this month, Canada will be hosting both the G8 and G20 summits in Huntsville (ON) and Toronto. It is important that world leaders hear a strong message from Canadians to end poverty.
Campaign 2000 joins our partner Make Poverty History and many other organizations/groups in urging the Canadian government to come up with a national plan for poverty reduction with set targets and clear timetables.

At the Table is a Canadian and global civil society campaign, mobilizing citizens to “take their place” at these critical global summits. It is a call to leaders to “take their place” in forging bold decisions on the issues people care about most — poverty, climate change, and economic justice.
