FST Volunteers
Our society depends, to a great extent, on the willingness of people to help each other, define and respond to emerging problems, create and implement social programs, and give voice to issues that are important to us all.
We are grateful to our many wonderful volunteers who bring compassion, caring and commitment to support our work. Last year, our 240 volunteers provided over 6,100 hours assistance to FST staff and clients from various programs.
How to apply for a volunteer position:
We welcome you to become a member of our volunteers team! Start with our current volunteer opportunities list. If you find a position that you are interested in, please send Mindy Khu, Coordinator, Volunteer Resources, an e-mail at mindykh@familyservicetoronto.org with your resume and a cover letter stating your interest in volunteering, how much time you have available and if you have other interests and skills that could benefit other FST programs.
We also welcome community/corporate groups that would like to get involved on either short-term or long-term projects. For further information call Mindy Khu at 416 595 9230 ext. 234.
