What to expect when you receive service from Options:

1. Once you are an individual supported by Options you’ll be contacted to set an appointment with a Community Resource Facilitator (CRF) to discuss your service needs.

2. Your meeting will take place according to your needs and preferences – it can be at your home, at Options office or in your community.

3. During your first meetings, your CRF wants to hear your story to learn about what’s important to you, your desired goals and dreams, the important people in your life and understanding your support needs.

4. You’ll also receive and discuss the Options Welcome Package.
The package includes information about community resources you might be looking for such as transportation, health centers, legal clinics, crisis services, recreation, leisure and other specialized services for people with developmental disabilities in Toronto.

5. A partnership is developed between you and your CRF where your goals are identified.
We will reach an agreement about what we need to do together, and what supports you require in order to reach your goals.

6. Working with your CRF will be a process constantly changing and evolving according to your progress and needs.
