David Kelley Services (DKS)

David Kelley Services provides professional individual, couple and family counselling to people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or queer, or who are questioning their gender identity and/or sexual orientation. We also provide services to persons living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

We provide services to clients from many different communities throughout Toronto. Our services help people deal with a broad range of issues such as: coming out, sexuality and gender identity, HIV/AIDS, discrimination, relationship issues, isolation, anxiety, depression, abuse and violence.

To arrange for counselling call our Service Access Unit at 416-595-9618 between 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. on Fridays.

DKS brief history

David Kelley Services Program is named after the late David Kelley, one of the founders of the Toronto Counselling Centre for Lesbians and Gays (TCCLG). The program was established in 1996 after TCCLG merged with Family Service Toronto. Read more on Remembering David Kelley page.

We are committed to anti-oppression work and to our goal to help empower lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer individuals, as well as people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS, and to enhance participation in their communities and in the broader society.
