Hari VISWANATHAN

Hari is currently the Senior Manager, Public Education and Partnerships for the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario, managing a team of individuals who are responsible for educating organizations about their obligations under the Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Previous employment includes the Commission of Inquiry into the bombing of Air India Flight 182 (Counsel for victim’s families), the Ministry of Community and Social Services (Senior Policy/Program Coordinator), the Office of Child and Family Service Advocacy (Advocacy Officer) and Cohen Highley LLP (Student-at-Law). His governance experience includes being a board member for the Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention and being a FST Governance Committee member for two years. Hari has a combined Juris Doctor and Masters of Social Work degree and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours Political Science) degree.
Elected in June 2009.
