Student Placements
Family Service Toronto is committed to providing learning opportunities through placements to students enrolled in courses such as social work or counselling. Over the years, we've benefited from having students working at FST in a variety of capacities and welcomed the experience exchange that occurs between students and staff.
Student practicum positions will be posted periodically as they become available. Students who are currently enrolled in an eligible study program with a practicum requirement may apply.
Please read the posted position descriptions carefully to ensure that your study program meets the eligibility requirements for the position. Eligible programs and levels of study will vary from placement to placement.
To apply
Students may submit an application for a specific placement advertised by FST. To apply, please e-mail a resume to student-coordinator@familyservicetoronto.org and indicate the name of the placement for which you are applying. If you wish to apply for more than one placement, please note this clearly on your application form and e-mail so that we can direct your application to the appropriate supervisors. We will not keep applications on file for future placements.
